BackupPilot Lite and BackupPilot Plus

Equiinet’s backup solutions, BackupPilot, BackupPilot Max and BackupPilot Lite, utilise both local and remote storage elements. Data is saved to the local BackupPilot, and for additional resilience, critical data can be backed-up to other remote data storage devices using unused overnight internet bandwidth.
BackupPilot operates automatically so that all the school’s data is backed up without any need for human intervention. Even teacher laptops, which are often left out of any backup plan, are covered, as client software installed onto each laptop enables backups whenever the laptop is connected to the school’s network.
