NetPilot Internet Security - New Company Launch
October 2009 - Eastnor Castle

In keeping with a security focused organisation, NetPilot Internet Security (NIS) held its official public launch within the moated fortress of Eastnor Castle , Herefordshire. The new company used the occasion to introduce both near term and future plans to its sales channel partners.

Over forty representatives of channel partner organisations were present at the launch event and were treated to a comprehensive set of presentations covering new products, channel programs and independent experts' views of business opportunities and networking technology futures.

Despite being a new company, the team behind NIS have a long association with the network security market and sales channels, as well as developing innovative new products. Jamie Pushman, responsible for sales and a company founder, points out that the team has been heavily involved with key underlying technologies such as Unified Threat Management (UTM) for some ten years, while having conducted business with many of the new company's channel partners for five or more years:

“We are in an exciting position. NIS is a ‘start-up' organisation - but with people, products and partners with a well proven track record. We have worked extremely hard behind the scenes to get everything in place to enable us to make our public launch. We are committed as a developer/manufacturer to only working with the channel. Hence this was the most appropriate audience for us to invite to our inaugural event.”

Participants were also treated to an off-road experience in a wide range of Land Rover models.
